Italy Serie A predictions – 3.11
Livorno vs Atalanta
Livorno are winless 7 rounds already and are set to play against Atalanta, who made some progress since losing 4 in their 5 games on the start of Serie A. Livorno missed the opportunity to get a W against Torino in last round after a great turnover from 0:2 to 3:2 after 60 minutes of play. But it was Alessio Cerci who grabbed the point for the smaller team from Turin. Atalanta grabbed the point against Inter last round and are mid table at the moment.
Will Livorno take the chance and fight for 3 points or will they try not to lose again?
Prediction: X, under 2,5 goals
Hellas Verona vs Cagliari
Verona are back on the winning path after a narrow loss against Inter on San Siro a week ago. They crushed Sampdoria 2:0 last round and now face another team from the bottom part of the table with some losses on the account. It is Cagliari visiting the town of Romeo and Juliet this round and they need points for sure. Only 2 wins in 10 rounds for them and of course they are down on the Serie A table.
Verona for sure are looking to another great performance and to leave the sole loss in their last 5 games alone for now.
Lazio vs Genoa
Lazio are quite shaky in their performance since the start of the season and now they have to host Genoa with Gilardino on the prowl.
Miro Klose is set to play but he is still far to show this season as Antonio Candreva is the top goalscorer for the Roman side. Lazio surely had some tough games until now, with visiting Milan and hosting Fiorentina some of the recent rounds, with travelling to Cyprus midweek for a game vs Apollon in the UEFA Europa League.
Genoa took the 3 points last week after Gilardino snatched the lone goal vs Parma and now the team has to do better if they want to get something from the Eagles.
Udinese vs Inter
Udinese grabbed some difficult points last round against the rookies of Sassuolo, with goals from their attacking duo – Muriel and Di Natale. Tough game but deserved points for the team from Udine. Now they face Inter who made quite a start but struggled in the last rounds, with only a win in their last 5 games, against Verona. Muriel and Di Natale already showed they can be deadly, but it’s actualy the team’s overall performance, that is to be bettered. Inter need the points for staying in the top zone of Seria A and it will be difficult for them to get them in this game.
Torino vs Roma
The game everyone is waiting for! Can Roma continue their record breaking winning streak, or will they finally bust. It’s still quite unbelievable how they managed to achieve this feat. And how long it is going to be on. Stunning stuff from Rudy Garcia’s side indeed.
Now the Wolves must face another tough opponent, who in fact is in a bad shape and hasn’t won a game since the end of September, and doing it at home even further in time. So the Giallorossi have all the chances to continue their great march for the title with another glorious win. They are the best team in Europe by stats in the moment and they will try to remain that for at least another week.
