English Premier League Round 8 Games on Focus
In this football weekend in mid October some very interesting games are on, with Round 8 in EPL taking place on our TVs. We are going to set our eyes on some of the most intriguing games in this round and will give you our look on their outcomes. Be free to use our opinion for your best while enjoying the magic, called English Premier League.
Arsenal vs Norwich
The Gunners had hard game last round on road to WBA, losing 2 points in the chase for the top spot in the table. They looked a bit tired on the pitch and this is quite understanding with so many injured players on the list. Now, with Cazorla ready to play and Ozil overcoming his minor injury from the game vs Sweden in the UEFA qualifications for the World Cup in Brazil, Arsenal must take an easy challenge vs red-zoned Norwich City. The Gunners are leaders in the EPL for now and games like these are must-take for them.
Prediction: 1, over 2,5 goals
Final Score: 4:1
Chelsea vs Cardiff City
Chelsea showed some good stuff vs Norwich last round, winning 3:1 on the road and making their wins 4 in 7 games since the start of the Premier League. Gaining strenght game after game under Jose, The Blues must continue their wins vs teams under the half line in the table, especially with Man City in the EPL and Arsenal in the League cup next on the line, right after the first game vs Schalke in the Champions League on Tuesday. Will Cardiff City stun another giant after their notorious win vs Man City nearly a month ago, or visiting Stamford Bridge will just go too much for the Welshmen, we are up to see this Saturday.
Prediction: X / 1 – HT/End Game, Over 2,5 goals
Final Score: 1:1/3:1
West Ham vs Manchester City
West Ham made a huge game last week, stunning Tottenham on White Hart Lane with a classic score – 0:3. AVB’s boys were absolutely shocked ot the pitch and didn’t expect such a result in the game. The new star of the Hammers, Ravel Morrison made an appearance that maybe made Man Utd to feel sorry for losing such a prospect and he showed his potencial for the England U21 too, scoring against Lithuania in the 5:0 win for the Englishmen. Man City on the other hand are still winless on the road and maybe it is time for them to go hard in this particular game and try to win and keep a close distance from the teams that are occupying the top spots at the moment. They are still quite shaky in form and it won’t be an easy game for sure.
Prediction: X/2 – HT/End Game, Under 2,5 goals
Final Score: 0:1/1:3
Newcastle vs Liverpool
Interesting game indeed. Geordies took a deep breath last week with a 2:1 win vs Cardiff City and are midtable with 3 wins since the start. Pool are second just behind Arsenal with only the goal difference that puts the Gunners on the first place for now. With Suarez and Sturridge making the impact that every fan from the red side of Mursey is hoping for, Pool are going for the W this week and Alan Pardew and his half-french side will face a hard challenge even for a draw. Will Liverpool stay in the race with Arsenal or will they flop against The Toons, we are about to see on Saturday noon.
